YING WA COLLEGE, HK CELEBRATES 205 ANNIVERSARY

Ying Wa College Hong Kong  celebrated her 205th Anniversary. 

Founded in Malacca in 1818 by Anglo Chinese School before they shifted to Hong Kong by Christian missionary. 

Malacca was where it began.

EARLY TUNG DINNER

Our family had an early Tung Dinner (Winter Solstice) at a PJ restaurant in Taman Paramount. 

Ting and Ryan who came back from Melbourne also joined in the dinner. 

The food dishes are good.

RE-CEMENT AND RE-PAINTING WORKS COMPLETED

Finally the re-cementing and re-painting of Malacca dining hall walls have been completed.

Putting rental notice at half frontshop.

COMPLETION OF PAINTING WORKS

Our repair and repainting works at our dining hall in Malacca is nearing completion.

POSSIBLE CSR MAKERS COMMUNITY SHOP

It is possible to have our own CSR Melaka Makers Community Shop to promote and sell handicraft products made by our volunteer makers.

This future shop can be like this diagram here.

A attractive colour LCD Display board with different messages in English,  Chinese and BM will add colour and attract eyeballs to the shop.

RENOVATION WORKS START

Re-cement dining hall in Malacca. Once the wall is dry, re-painting will be done.

Yesterday,  we started to repair and re-cement the walls and horizontal beam at the dining hall in Malacca. 

The wall has been scraped and will be re-cemented before re-painted.

To compliment our Melaka Makers future physical Community Shop, we have made our own MelakaMakersshop on line website.

Once our physical shop gets started, handicrafts made by our Melaka Makers can be displayed physically or via our own online shop.

Visitors and purchasers can visit our website to order the items displayed. Bulk orders for items are welcomed.

Proceeds from sales of our items will be used to finance or donated to charitable organisations.

CSR MAKERS SPACE STARTS OPERATION

                                                    Preparing shelf for Makers /space.

Our offer of space for a Makers Space recently has started their operation this afternoon. 

Today 8 nov, MMM starts a new chapter at Kee Ann Rd, courtesy of the Kang family. 

May the spirit of care for each other and for the environment prevail! 

Welcome all!

Handmade handicrafts will be made from  recycled materials such as used clothing, plastics and other recycled materials. 

Handicrafts made are to be sold and proceeds will be given to charities. 

Volunteers are welcomed.
