We took back Yuk Tong signage back to 12, Kee Ann road for safekeeping.
Yuk Tong means Jade Home and this signage was hung above the main door at 84, Lorong Bukit China in Malacca.
This house was bought by my maternal grandfather, Wong Yuk Sang, as his ancestral house. In later years of 2000, it was sold by his siblings and the money received was divided to the siblings.
By doing so, the Wong clan lost their ancestral house in Malacca and their descendents cannot visit the house anymore. Pity.
