KEE ANN ROAD FLOODED LAST NIGHT

Our online webcam captured the flooding of Kee Ann road last night.

  On the right, you can see rubbish flowing in 

                       the open drain.

The open drain was full and was not able to drain the rain water. Rubbish was thrown into the drain and has clogged up the drain as well. The public must not throw rubbish into these drains.

INTERNET WIFI WEBCAM IN OPERATION

Today we installed an Internet WIFI webcam to oversee the shop front entrances.

This webcam will monitor the traffic and ensure security by allowing online surveillance 24 hours a day.

TO LET AFTER INSTALLING SLIDING GLASS DOOR AND AIRCOND

We completed our upgrading works at our half shop front by installing a 3 panel tempered glass door today.

In future, we hope to install a wifi webcam at the top left corner to monitor the shop front and Kee Ann road remotely via the Internet. By doing so, the security of our premises will be ensured.

By opening up the roller shutter and closing the sliding door, public can see our shop inside. 

We also installed an inverter 1hp split air-con for the premises. 

INSTALLING 1 HP INVERTER AIRCOND

We have just installed a 1 HP inverter airconditioner at our half shop front.

We have ordered a 3 panel sliding glass doors to be installed in front of the roller shutter doors.

Once installed, it allows the half front shop can be seen from outside. With the installed air-conditioner, the environment inside the shop will be cool and comfortable.

We have also installed an on-line webcam in the shop for monitoring business security.

In future,  we want to install an external Wi-Fi Webcam for monitoring external shop traffic and security. 

Hopefully, we can get higher rental with this upgraded premises.

The upgraded premises is suitable for mobile handphone shop, dress shop, souvenir and handicraft, healthcare shop etc.

We have intention to upgrade our half shop front with a glass partition and a sliding glass door.

We can have 2 panels or 3 panels sliding doors . 3 panels doors will allow us to have a wider entrance.

By opening the roller shutter door and with new glass partition and door, the half shop can be visible to the public. 

3 Panels for wider entrance 

A fixed glass partition and a sliding glass door to save space is also possible.

Once done , we may let out the upgraded premises to small enterprise like mobile phone seller, a tourism souvenir stall or a charity book shop.

Our management is also open to joint venture ideas.

KUALA LUMPUR, June 28 (Xinhua) -- Malaysia's trade connectivity with China and Southeast Asia received a boost on Thursday with the launch of the ASEAN Express, an international freight train connecting Malaysia to Thailand, Laos and China.

The service connecting new trade routes and multiple inland ports across the region is expected to reduce the transit time of goods within the region significantly, for example taking just nine days from Kontena Nasional Inland Clearance Depot (KNICD) in Selangor state to southwest China's Chongqing Municipality against the 14 to 21 days normally required by sea, Transport Minister Loke Siew Fook said in his speech at the flag-off ceremony.

Loke said the new service would not only improve regional logistics and rail connectivity but also open up new markets and provide more cost savings to local businesses and people.

"This service will provide smoother and more efficient goods flow throughout the region as well as enhance rail cargo transport capacity while reducing logistics costs by an estimated 20 percent from current market rates," he said.

"The shorter transport times are also expected to open up new markets, with the agricultural sector in particular to benefit by allowing perishable products to be transported more quickly by rail. Rail transport also boasts a significantly lower carbon footprint than road haulage, promoting a sustainable future," he said.

For his part, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad Group chief executive officer Mohd Rani Hisham Samsudin said the new service showcases both the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Malaysia's competitiveness in the global market.

"The ASEAN Express also has the potential to handle up to 20,000 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent unit containers) annually from China to the ASEAN market, which opens up significant opportunities for trade and economic growth while reinforcing the strategic importance of our railway network in the regional supply chain," he said.

"Through this connection of key economic hubs, we expect the service to facilitate greater economic integration among our neighbors while also driving regional development and prosperity," he said.
