To compliment our Melaka Makers future physical Community Shop, we have made our own MelakaMakersshop on line website.

Once our physical shop gets started, handicrafts made by our Melaka Makers can be displayed physically or via our own online shop.

Visitors and purchasers can visit our website to order the items displayed. Bulk orders for items are welcomed.

Proceeds from sales of our items will be used to finance or donated to charitable organisations.

CSR MAKERS SPACE STARTS OPERATION

Our offer of space for a Makers Space recently has started their operation this afternoon. 

Today 8 nov, MMM starts a new chapter at Kee Ann Rd, courtesy of the Kang family. 

May the spirit of care for each other and for the environment prevail! 

Welcome all!

Handmade handicrafts will be made from  recycled materials such as used clothing, plastics and other recycled materials. 

Handicrafts made are to be sold and proceeds will be given to charities. 

Volunteers are welcomed.

We have allowed Melaka Makers to use our rear car park as their production of handicraft for charity.

There is a toilet here and it is convenient for users to use it.

A POTENTIAL HAWKER CENTRE AT BACK OF KEE ANN ROAD BACKLANE

There is a potential covered hawker centre located at the back lane of Kee Ann road. 

Currently, the space is a warehouse measuring 40m in length and 8.5m in width. 

It can easily accommodate at least 50 hawker stalls with eating tables. 

If this warehouse can be converted into a covered hawker centre, it can be a draw for visitors and locals alike to have their food and drinks.

With some publicity to promote the center, patrons can come to grace the space.   

NEW INVESTMENTS IN KEE ANN ROAD

Recently, Kee Ann road has attracted new investments in the purchases of shop house properties. 

2 corner shop houses were purchased by owners of goldsmith shops. 

Currently,  one has began to renovate the corner shop house. This shop used to be a coffee shop in 1970s.

Another shop was purchased recently by a goldsmith owner who wanted a visible space in front of Kee Ann road. He bought the shop at about RM 1.3 million for an area of 1,300 sq. ft.
